Bengal Safari was established in 1976 and covers an area of approximately 159 square kilometers. The sanctuary is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including Asian elephants, Indian rhinoceros, leopards, sambar deer, barking deer, and many other species.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The best time to visit Bengal Safari is from October to May when the weather is pleasant and dry. During the monsoon season, from June to September, the sanctuary is usually closed due to heavy rainfall.
