History Of That Place

DEULTI is believed to have been founded in the 10th century by the Pala dynasty. The village was an important center of Buddhism and Hinduism during the medieval period. The famous Dharmarajika Stupa, built by Emperor Asoka in the 3rd century BC, is located near DEULTI. The village also has several ancient temples, including the Charchala Temple, which dates back to the 9th century.

Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit DEULTI is during the winter months, from November to February, when the weather is pleasant and cool. The summer months, from March to June, can be very hot and humid.

How To Reach

DEULTI is located about 50 km from Kolkata and can be easily reached by road or rail. The nearest railway station is Howrah, and from there, you can take a local train or hire a taxi to DEULTI.
